Before Bridgerton, he starred in Netflix’s The Sandman

In an interview with The Wrap, the actor revealed that he drew inspiration from King George, Kendall Roy from Succession, and Jason Bateman to bring his character to life.
Quoting from The Wrap, the actor shared, “There was a piece of music from ‘Succession’ that I would listen to when I put the ring that George has on, and that would be the last thing I did before I started the day. It was almost like Pavlov’s dog. I remember watching ‘Succession,’ and there’s a moment where Jeremy Strong looks down, and there was this music, and I went ‘That’s him. That’s George.”

“Anything that’s outside out the stuff that will help you between action and cut doesn’t exist, and everything that will help you, it does,” he says. “Let that stuff in, but everything else, just let it slide off you.”
