 The series on Netflix plays tribute to American fashion designer Roy Halston. The mini-series brings us through Halston breakthrough into the fashion scene. He dressed Bianca Jagger for her nights out at Studio 54, Liza Mennelli’s stage outfits and Jackie Kennedy’s pillbox hat. Halston was part of the American glamour of 1970s and ’80s.

 

Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards

Manolo Blahnik, made famous in the Sex in the City series is regarded as the greatest shoe designer of the 20th and 21st century. The documentary follows his career, beginning from his childhood memories of making shoes of muslin and ribbons for lizards. The film highlights his work with regular clients including Rihanna and Naomi Campbell.
