Nespresso delivers just that with its special Barista Creations for Ice, the perfect antidote for our hot and humid weather and this season, it arrives with a much welcomed Limited Edition Coconut Flavour over Ice.

As Malaysians, coconut is as much a part of our lives as the tropical sun. The coconut flesh and coconut milk are essential ingredients in our savoury dishes and desserts, and coconut water is always a welcome thirst-quencher to escape the heat.And now we’re in for a really special treat. The new Limited Edition Coconut Flavour over Ice is a true revelation, as its coconut flavour balances beautifully with the roasted, caramelly notes of the Latin American Arabica base espresso. It’s a soothing medium roasted blend composed of the mellowness of Brazilian beans, then rounded off by the Arabicas from Central and South America. The always delicious hint of a vanilla note runs through the blend, offering an undeniable taste of the tropics in just a simple sip. The coffee can be brewed directly over ice to instantly chill it and lock in the flavours, or perhaps top it up with cold water or milk for a more lengthening treat.
Apart from the Limited Edition Coconut Flavour over Ice, Nespresso is also bringing back its much loved ice coffee blends, Barista Creations Freddo Delicato and Freddo Intenso, now with an all-new sleeve design. Barista Creations Freddo Delicato is the more delicate of the two, delivering bright and fruity notes from its lightly roasted Kenyan Arabica beans while those who prefer bold flavours will surely gravitate towards the intense yet exciting Freddo Intenso with its deeper roasted South American Arabica and Indonesian Arabica beans. These blends are specially crafted for a coffee recipe over ice—so even as the ice cubes melt, the flavours won’t.
The Nespresso iced coffee is best served as 1 coffee capsule (40 ml) over a handful of ice cubes (90 g). To better extend the treat, top it up with cold water or cold milk (90 ml).
