The Star of Prada’s Luna Rossa Ocean Fragrance Finds Not Bathing Great For Skin Maintenance

It’s a sentiment that not a lot of people share. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, actor Jake Gyllenhaal makes a questionable revelation about his everyday shower routine – that he believes bathing to be “less necessary, at times.” He says,  “I think that there’s a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves.”

This comes after celebrity couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis revealed on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast that they too do not shower daily, which has caused a great bathing debate and some of the most hilarious memes on Twitter. Check them out below!

In a somewhat ironic twist, Jake is the star of Prada’s new Luna Rossa Ocean Fragrance, the first launched in collaboration with L’Oréal. The visuals shot by Sølve Sundsbø and campaign film directed by Johan Renck depict Jake as an explorer of the ocean at his most spirited, sailing amidst a storm.

“Thanks to his audacious spirit and his talent, Gyllenhaal embodies the adventurous new fragrance, striking a balance between strength and virility, elegance and sensuality, and sophistication and self-awareness,” says the brand in an official statement

The fresh and masculine fragrance opens with top notes of bergamot, pink pepper, and artemisia. Soft middle notes of saffron, sage and lavender make up the heart before drying down to a strong blend of musk, patchouli, caramel and Haitian vetiver.
