Every awards season, the Oscars® Greenroom earns its own quiet moment of recognition.
This year, Rolex has designed an elegant space just off the main stage, where presenters, nominees and winners can unwind as the show progresses. Uniquely, for 2026, this exclusive space has been designed around a remarkable milestone: the 100th anniversary of the iconic Oyster, the world’s first waterproof watch, the design is inspired by both the spirit of innovation and the enduring heritage of the brand.
The Oscars® Greenroom is an elegant tribute to Hollywood as well as to one of the most iconic watches in the world.

The resulting interior makes its references gracefully. Green velvet creates a sense of timeless elegance, while brushed metal in refined champagne gold finishes, with expertly anodised accents in varying golden tones, brings a sophisticated visual harmony to the space. The green and gold palette, a Rolex signature, proves an ideal fit for a glamorous Hollywood evening.

Portraits of Oscars® icons line the walls, turning the Greenroom into something of a curated archive, a space that honours both a century of watchmaking and Hollywood’s most memorable moments.

Fittingly, the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona on display here makes the connection explicit. Launched in 1963, the Cosmograph Daytona was born for the racetrack but has long since transcended its watch status to become a true icon. Here, in 18 ct yellow gold with a vibrant green dial, a bezel with a tachymetric scale and an Oyster bracelet, the timepiece mirrors the room with perfect precision.

Rolex has been a Proud Sponsor of the Oscars® since 2017, supporting the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in its mission to celebrate and preserve the art of cinema for future generations. It’s a partnership that stems from a shared respect for craftsmanship, legacy and, as the Oscars Greenroom attests, an appreciation for things done exceptionally well.
